If you are a family member of mine, you should know in some way shape or form, all of the people in this collage. If you are a friend of mine, you know at least 2 of these people.  But even if you know just 1 of these people, you have met the product of all of these people. 🙂

How you display your art is just as important as the artwork itself. This is actually not wall art (I composed this on the floor… but I still had a lot of fun doing it!).

Just a display to show some of the different things I am doing with the tile coasters I craft. I am not currently selling them with picture frames, although I think maybe should start…

That’s my husband and I on the bottom right corner (not all that long ago!). Also represented is my nephew at the same event; Paternal Grandmother, recently departed; My sister’s 2 orange kitties; My mother at her college graduation with her Professor dad; and my little brother at his 2nd Birthday!

One degree of separation from any of these individuals = I love you!

I made these coasters for our home. They go beautifully with the autumn decor and the warm colors blend nicely with the wood tables. The shiny gold fringe adds just right amount of gleam. For sale now in my Etsy store!

Mission complete! I finished it just in time to present to Tony at his Birthday Party, complete with camouflage wrapping paper and tissue. You can see how the stain took to the burned areas, adding warmth and another degree of life.

He loves his gift and all-in-all I’m pretty pleased with it as well  (especially having never done wood burning before). The only thing left to do now is find the perfect spot to hang it!

Here’s a picture of my baby with his present (yes, I made the banner as well).

Thank you all for your love and support throughout this pilot production of my first blog-cast project! I enjoyed documenting my experience and perhaps it will help inspire someone else to take on a new and challenging craft. If wood burning is one you decide to give a shot, I’d be happy to help or answer any questions. Or if there is something different that you would like to see me try, throw it out there! I just might give it a shot.

My Wedding… My Brand in Full Spectrum

Like most brides, I wanted the theme of my wedding to capture my personality and express my style. I accomplished this through a pallet of lavenders and purples, mismatched paper patterns, sheer fabrics, whimsical accents, and a touch of shabby-chic. These projects stylized full-spectrum the inner-most characteristics of my personal brand.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t blogging at the time I was planning my wedding, so I didn’t capture a lot of my wedding-related projects, however I want to compile what I can here, if only for my own personal journaling purposes. That said, as my fellow craft-crazy counterparts know, there are always TONS of post-wedding projects to be done, so I will be contributing those to this forum as I get around to them as well.
